CrowdPulse is built so your music stays yours. This page explains exactly what leaves your computer and why.

What stays on your computer

Your music files, library, crates, sets, settings, setlists and API keys stay on your computer. They're stored in your own user folder and are never sent to us.

What our license server sees

To check your license, CrowdPulse sends your license key, an anonymous computer ID (a one-way hash, not your hardware serial), your computer's name, its operating system, the CrowdPulse version and the internet address the check comes from. We use this only to run your license: to show which computers use it and to let you move it.

What Stripe sees

When you subscribe, Stripe collects your name, email and payment details. We receive your name, email and subscription status from Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Optional AI features

If you add your own keys, CrowdPulse sends data directly from your computer to those services, not through us. Trend Scout, the AI Music Director and genre lookup send song titles, artists and tags to Anthropic or OpenAI. Clean & Load and Clean Edit Studio send the one song you're cleaning to ElevenLabs to transcribe the lyrics. Voice Booth sends the text you type. Each service handles that data under its own privacy policy.
